Well, I lurked for a while, and now, with the encouragement of my friend purplerat, I have jumped in.

I started teaching myself to art several years ago, and I haven't been able to stop since. I have had to nurture my arse off to make what little talent nature gave me stretch, but it has been a pleasant if frustrating journey.

I am looking for some honest and constructive criticism, and I hope to make some friends with whom I can share my doodles, whilst feasting my eyes on the work of others.

I will gradually fill my gallery (and my Scraps folder) with sketches and finished pieces over the next week, so please keep watching
